From Baby Blues and Frozen Lasagnas
Once you make it home from the hospital (an exceptionally slow ride due to the new precious cargo) you may find yourself surprisingly uncomfortable. I’m not referring to your burning stitches, but rather the feeling that you have no idea what to do with your new addition. At some point you’ll have to get her out of the baby carrier and introduce her to her new home.
Starving after rejecting three days of hospital food, you likely be too nervous to eat. Even if you are looking forward to dinner, good luck eating while crying. I don’t know why you’ll be crying. You won’t even know why you’re crying. It just happens. Maybe the baby woke up just as you managed to lower yourself into a chair. Maybe you’re overcome with joy. Happy tears or sad tears, keep the tissues on hand...

Accept each duplicative Pyrex dish graciously and let them do whatever household chore they offer. While it may not be the appropriate time to get picky (telling them you like your towels folded lengthwise and then widthwise), it is ok to accept help...
