BUT, the point is that if you compare healthful and, well, much less healthful foods pound for pound, and take into consideration how these things will nourish and fill you, you'll see that it is not cheaper to buy the junk or grab the takeout.
Junk food and take-out should be sometimes foods, or treats.
You can't afford to buy healthy food? Oh really?
It does often seem like fresh food is so much more expensive than prepackaged foods, but it's really not, pound for pound.
If you don't have it, you don't spend it. Live with what you have. Save for what you want.

Pretending not to be bored by games designed for an 18 month old is much easier to do while gossiping with your new friend about the other playground moms.
If you've never stood in a preschool parking lot and held a 'therapy' session with another mom or two, you're missing out. Chances are, they're going through the same challenges as you are-- or can at least relate to your woes.
Whether it's at work or school, friend or family, find someone in your similar situation. It helps. A lot.
