I'm not a huge movie person (especially in the theater), but Mary Poppins and the Nutcracker have me super excited.
🤷♀️ Is that wrong? I mean, it seems in line with what I know it to be...
AMC said, "I see your $1 movies, Regal, and I raise you $3, popcorn, fruit snacks, and a drink!!"
We just recently watched the original Jumanji, so I'm excited for this! I thought it was coming out this summer, but it says Christmas.
In addition to the video game part, I like the other twist.
It is so hard to find good PG movies. Everything jumps from, like, Cars to Fast and the Furious. That's only a slight exaggeration.
What does a mom have to do to get a PG movie for a group with the average age of 10 [that's not a fantasy series!]?!
We had Goonies and Three Ninjas and Sandlot and Mighty Ducks and Cutting Edge and a ton of other sports movies (all with the same plot, but still...). Then as we got a little older we had stuff like Bill and Ted, and Encino Man, with stupid (but not vulgar) humor. There is NOTHING like that now.
If anyone has suggestions for non-animated PG movies made after 2000 that are cool enough for a group of crazy boys, send them my way.
I just caught the end of this movie. So wonderfully 90s. Still love this, even though it's not even close to 10 things.
Here ya go!
Get there early. Trust me.
I'm so glad I preordered tickets to a movie that no one else here wants to see!
LEGO Goonies? Shut.Up.
