Holiday Hack: If you don't iron your tablecloth, you can use the fold lines to help center it 🤪
When a Dicks commercial makes you well up, maybe you have some seasonal stress haha 🏓🥺😁
I am DUUUN with Walgreens photos. So much for my easy Christmas cards. Anyone who gets a card from me, just know that I understand it's not my best effort.
(Actually, it's more than enough effort on my part; lack of quality execution on their part is the problem.)
*please remind me next year!
I'm decorating for Christmas and roasting vegetables, and this is basically my 30-something happy place.
(In the cold months; in the warm months it's somewhere sunny and 75, on a ballfield or close to water with a drink.)
Once upon a time, I liked to go out the night before Thanksgiving.
Now, on this night, I like to do old lady things like prep food, and do my nails, and drink tea, and tell the same story of that one time I climbed in the window of the Bent Elbow on Thanksgiving Eve*, and go to bed shortly after the time I was probably arriving there that night. 👵
*(We talked about this before; it was either 2000 or 2001, and several of you were there, even though I didn't even know some of you at the time!)
Well, you heard them. Throw away all your lettuce.
Only turkey and apple pie until further notice.
No one will know if I just use all the leftover Valentines cards from the last 8 years instead of buying new ones, right? Does it matter that no one here has watched Elmo in like 8 years, or that Madagascar came out like 6 years ago?
(I know they're like $1. I'm just over it haha)
Happy New Year, lovelies!
Every Dec 31 I see lots of grumbling and door slamming, but 2017 wasn't all bad.
For the last 10 minutes of the year, focus on the *good* moments so those are the ones that we carry through to next year <3
