Locals- does anyone treat seasonal allergies with local honey? Recommendations? He doesn't love honey, but he also doesn't love amounting this many tissues in 35min outside
I liked Auvi-Q better than Epi-Pen, so this is great. Plus, a little competition is good.
There are lots of articles about Epi-pen price-hikes and CEO raises going around. Don't worry about it.*
Instead, get your regular prescription, print out a $0 co-pay card directly from the Epi-pen site, and go to your pharmacy. I've never had a problem using it. (I have had an issue with my insurance company when I get 2 at a time-- we need one for school-- but I fight them every year.)
*I'm not saying it's not ridiculous, we just have no control over it. AUVI-Q, which was better than Epi-Pen, was killed by a recall. So this is the only option, and they know it.
Good info for pn/tn allergies!
We've never had any worries with Goldfish. I love the clear info.
Ugh ugh ugh. Check your products and dates!
I just saw the scariest allergy commercial :/
Research like this is amazing.
I read something similar about testing with Celiac, but hadn't seen it for other allergens. So cool. Gives great hope.
Someone recently brought to my attention how difficult it is to find allergy-safe items in food pantries, something I had admittedly not considered before, even with an allergy kid of my own :/
Big things (in small packages) are on the horizon!
Interesting. (Very scientific, not a peanut patch.)
