I don't agree with her solution of inviting everyone to everything. Usually that's not logistically or financially possible. And of course everyone has "best" friends that they prefer to be around, but intentionally and obviously excluding someone is just mean-- especially when it's done by the mothers instead of the kids.
I like back to school shopping so much better in theory than reality.
This is how I feel every year when they go back to school-- moreso this year because B is heading to middle school. But it's what they're supposed to do, and we've prepared them well for it (hopefully...). <3
