A new friend and mom-to-be is looking for suggestions for daycare/preschools in or near Jenkintown, for a newborn. Let me hear your best experiences!
Friends who live near me~ if you're looking for in-home child care for the summer, let me know and I'll hook you up with someone great!
Whoa. Sure, bedtimes are stretched and snacks run more freely-- that's part of the sleep-over fun-- but nothing like ruined potty-training or sleep schedules!
How old were your kids when you first left them with a non-family babysitter (let's not count daily daycare; think a night out)?
What's the going rate for babysitters?
Does it matter how old they are? If you're home or not? The age and quantity of your kids? Help me out.
I have lots of thoughts on this-- what are yours?
Imagine that you get home from work to find coffee mugs on the counter, bottles with dried-up milk in them, and various bowls-- including two with now-cemented rice cereal in them-- in the sink.
Is it ok to nicely ask your babysitter to clean up after herself and rinse, if not wash, the baby's things?
Now imagine the same thing, except babysitter= mother/mother-in-law who's watching baby for free. Same answer?
With a love of children and a passion for reading and writing, Kelly decided to share her experiences with others through the pages of the Crib Notes book and site.
