I make cookies pretty regularly (in the winter, at least). Most often, they are great. Of course today, when I am making them for something specific AND TOOK THE TIME TO SEPARATE M&Ms INTO TEAM COLORS, they are a huge faily mess.

I hate when a recipe does not tell how much it will yield. I was just *forced* to make a batch of cookies so that I know how many batches I need to make to have enough for the cookie exchange. ;) But seriously, it bugs me.
