It's worth noting that weird is listed twice.
In slight defense of her, everyone shares the same cheesy quotes, rarely attributing them correctly. BUT she should not sign her name at the bottom as if they are her own quotes. That's deceptive, at the least.
Years ago a big scary mommy blog that I used to like posted the same status that I had posted 2 days earlier very nearly word for word, and got way more attention than I had of course.
I see stuff like this all the time-- people retyping a meme or funny quote in a new font, watermarking it, and posting it as their own-- and it sucks.
YES! I just had this discussion with someone at work. It doesn't make you look more professional; it makes you look out of touch.
(Although I resent the "older than 37" claim. I'm 38 and haven't used a double space in at least 10 years (unless required by a client's (outdated) style guide).)
And yes, I did just use parentheses inside parentheses inside parentheses. That also is incorrect. But I love parentheses. 😂

"This next generation of advertising creatives have both the desire and the skills to play in multiple sandboxes...Many of the new emerging creatives aren't dilettantes. They bring skills, and aspire to creative roles, that are broader than the job descriptions into which our industry slots them."
I think this has been true in the creative world for a while. It's great. Hopefully the workflows (and compensation) can catch up.
Haha, I love it!
"As they say, one man's trash is another's fully formed, multi-platform, through-the-line, potentially award-winning campaign."
I have a couple things to say about this:
1. No, Y-O-U-apostrophe-R-E a jerk!
2. Sorry, it's my job to point out others' errors (which, admittedly, feeds my jerky soul).
3. Meh, it's not the worst I've ever been called.
This is good. 15 (yikes) years ago, I had a Writing for the Web class. There's a lot more to thin about than the words (despite that many of these things weren't even realities at that time!).
Word nerds-- this is super cool
"What if we just cuddle, and by cuddle I mean not actually touching--
Each of us at the far edge of our own side of the bed--
Then close our eyes for the next seven hours or so?
I like you."
Hahaha Happy Valentine's Day
