In today's episode of making decisions based on the least important factor-- did you know they have stoves with COLORS inside?!
Tell me how ridiculous it is to choose a paint color based on its name.
(Yes, we've been through this before.)
A paint color named Dorian Gray? LOVE in every way.
(I have a long history of choosing paint colors-- for nails and walls-- based on their name.)
Another clue that I'm more about words than design (as if there were any doubt)-- I've been know to choose paint colors (wall or nail) based on their name over their color.
My son's room is Blue Dart, our family room is Chocolate Cheesecake, I chose Armed and Ready for my nephew's military-themed birthday party...words.
Indecision's at an all-time high and productivity is at an all-time low. The do-over paint color ended up looking even more like the original-- like the one we started with-- ya' know, before we ripped down the walls to get rid of that color!
Ugh! I'm cool with leaving it at this point (I'm just done with it!), but my husband just proposed a completely new color idea (which I love!). I'm not one to cut a project short, but I'm afraid we'll end up with 12 coats of paint on our fresh walls!
