The salaries of just one teacher?
I'm not really a political person, at least not on facebook, but I keep seeing this image being shared in support of welcoming refugees.
And that makes no sense.
The Native Americans accepted the 'refugee' Pilgrims, and look what happened. So this 'joke' implies that if we let refugees in, they will pillage our land and eventually take over (which I don't think is the point that the refugee supporters are trying to prove...).
So no matter what side of the issue you're on (or stuck somewhere in the middle like me), this image does not prove your point. And this issue is not a joke.
I love Michelle Obama. I'm not sure about her husband or Romney, so maybe SHE should be the one running. I think I'd vote for her! (This is probably the most political thing you'll see here!)
Whew! I have my opinions and my principles, but am not a very political person. Politics aside, I don't think this is any way to speak about a mother.
Each family makes the best choices for their own family and own situation. Certainly, some are more 'forced' than others, due to financial needs, but that does not make the stay-at-home mom's work any less valuable.

I've spent the whole week being careful to refer to the Thanksgiving Feast participants as Pilgrim and Native Americans, instead of "Indians", as we were taught 25 years ago. Tonight, B says, "Why do you keep saying that? They're called Pilgrims and Indians!" Well, ok then!
Great, informative article no matter which side of the abortion argument you're on:
