I love looking at bathroom makeovers on Lowe's website and thinking that I'd be happy if mine looked like the 'Before', let alone the 'After'!
So it seems that I'm at this glorious age where I have both acne and wrinkles-- super fun! Haha!
When it comes to skincare, I stick with what I know and like, but recently I was offered the opportunity to try Skintactix.
Although I'm not totally green, I do like the idea of natural products. I don't like fragrance in general. The only thing I like from Bath and Body Works is handsoap--really. I look for the least fragranced lotions I can find.
So that appealed to me, and I agreed to do a month-long challenge. The kit I felt was bet for my skin is a three-step program.
It's only day 3, but it feels great! It does smell a little more, umm "natural" than I'm used to, but I can get over that :)
Looks like Strawberry Shortcake and Dora the Explorer both hired the same stylist. Wow. This chick is a far cry from the Strawberry Shortcake I played with until she no longer smelled of Strawberries. I was a little old for Dora, but what I know of her involved a chubby belly and little yellow crew socks- not leggings and a baby doll top.
Strawberry was probably due for a makeover-- what 30-something girl couldn’t use a haircut and a new outfit? I must admit that these new dolls are super cute, but I’m not sure why they were redesigned. Was there a Revolt-by-3-year-old incident I didn’t hear about?
Were the makers just keeping their products current and growing with thier clients, or succumbing to the sexy-little-girl epidemic (most obviously illustrated by Halloween costumes)? What do you think?
