What were your must have items to take with you when having your baby? Did you pack ahead of time, or grab stuff on the way out the door?

There is one thing from my labor and delivery experiences that still makes me cringe, and my husband brought it up this weekend...in front of our pregnant friends!
Is there anything about your experiences that time and mommy-brain-chemistry hasn't turned to butterflies and bliss? (You don't have to write it here if it's too cringe-worthy, but 'like' to let me know that I'm not alone!)
(In his defense, we were talking about how you *so quickly* forget any pain or discomfort of pregnancy, labor, and delivery; it wasn't like he commented out of the blue!)

I love the doctor's quote: "'It wasn't so difficult that it created a problem for anybody,' the doctor said about delivering a very big newborn by cesarean section, which can be more difficult." Sometimes babies are just big!
Hmm, interesting. Good resource for knowing which docs/hospitals will allow VBACs too.
