April Challenge girls-- check out the last slide on the proper way to do a squat. Form is important! (There are some other good moves in here too!)
Hmm, good point. And I'm certainly guilty.
How's everyone doing with the April Challenge?
For those doing squats this month, check out the first page! Be sure to get low, and sit back. Don't let your knees go forward past your toes.
(There's a very annoying ad that drops down every time you click to the next page, so be warned if you're looking at the whole thing.)
Day 4 is 'Rest', but since we started a day late, I'm going to catch up by skipping the rest day. Rest days are important though!
Try to stay as consistent as possible-- once you break the habit, it's easier to fall out of routine. Don't worry if you miss a day though; double up another day, or just catch up at the end of the month. Just keep going!
Who's going to participate?
Choose 2 of the challenges and add your name in the comments!
(Busy or just easing in? Choose 1! Ready to hit it hard? Do them all!)
(All of the other Fitness Challenges were created by me; this one was found on Pinterest and did not link to a main site.)
I hate, hate, hate April Fools Day. I'm already cringing at all of the fake pregnancy announcements I'll see tomorrow.
Fitness Challenge girls-- Have you just been doing the April Arms, or have you kept up with any of the past months' exercises too?
April Arms girls-- how are you doing with the schedule? The plank-to-push ups are supposed to be hard, but not impossible. We can adjust the quantity, if needed, as we go. Feedback welcome!
"I want to have those 'I don’t care what anyone thinks, this is what I look like' feelings in my head, while still staying in healthy weight loss mode."
Whew, that's hard to do. Good goal.
