Does anyone else need a trim up for school picture day, while I have the clippers out? ;)
I straightened my hair last night for the first time in a long time, and the extra little bit of length put me well past mermaid. My hair is longer than my arms-length picture can capture! Time for a trim.
(total selfie pose, but for a good reason!)
Most people see going to get their hair done as "me" time, or as a relaxing experience. Not me; I prefer to do it on the fly!
"I need a trim and my layers shaped up! I have to drop off at preschool at 9, and need to be on a conference call at 10:30, can we make that happen? If we're running late you don't have to dry or straighten me...Great! Pencil me in!" :)

Did you get a 'mommy haircut' when you were pregnant or soon after your baby was born? Was it for convenience, the need for a change, something you could control?
I didn't. I did get cut 12"+ off, but not until about 4months after my son was born, and I don't think it really had anything to do with having a baby. I tend to transition long to short every few years. Just last week, I cut mine-- but only a little this time. (No more mermaid hair! If I was to be caught naked with only my hair to cover myself, I'd no longer be safe, haha!).
