It did say Countdown to Spring but since the first day of Spring came and went under quarantine, it seemed pretty anti-climactic. So we moved to this, until...who knows! I think that's the hardest part for me-- not having an end date to count down to. We're doing pretty great here, but I handle things much better when the end is in sight. 🗓
Our baskets have matured from board books and crayons and even superheroes, to socks and hats and sunglasses. And, I fear, in a couple more short years they'll be emptier and more electronic...
"Dude, didn't I ask you to do that earlier?"
"I was going to, but I was busy playing!"

A 2+hr baseball practice wasn't really in the plan for today, but I can't really complain about sitting in the warm sun for 2 hours and listening to the crack of the bat :)
Not sure if it was the glimpse of grass in the yard this weekend or today's fail of a snowstorm but I am feeling spring sneak in. I mean I'm shivering at this moment... but warmth is near! Dreaming of the beach...
Does this run of Spring weather mean I can finally wash the winter coats and put them away? Or is it going to snow next week?
I totally have Spring fever. I want to clean/clean out everything, and start a project. Kids Kloset Swap helped with the first part, but there's more work to be done!
My boys woke up yelling, "Yea! It's Spring! Now we can wear shorts and t-shirts!" Ha, if only it worked that way instead of this way:
