Girls who were young in the early 90s- what book does this remind you of?
(It was a super popular book, maybe an obscure reference, but it was the first thing I thought of.)
I posted this last year and no one guessed it, so maybe it's just me! Answer: Just As Long As We're Together!
The guy they're obsessed with wears a chartreuse jacket with a dragon on it. I remember reading it in maybe 3rd or 4th grade and I didn't know what chartreuse was, so that's where I learned! It has clearly stuck with me all this time. (I know those are snakes and not dragons, but still haha)
