And in the last few days before school starts again, they both learned how to blow bubbles with their gum.
Fighting the good fight for allergy meds again...
My favorite part was when she explained to me why there are 2 in a Junior pack. I KNOW. Not my first time, lady. What I DON'T know is why I can have all the free birth control I want, but a second allergy injectible would be $1000+ (literally), and that is IF they will even give it to me.
Time to escalate this complaint...again.
p.s. It's totally worth it to try to use the $0 co-pay cards for Epipen or Auvi-Q. Worse they can do is not accept it.
I'm literally not even interested in the fact that the VMAs are on.
Like, for a couple years, I'd turn it on just to see if I could identify anyone (reminder: I couldn't), or to see the outfits (but usually I just got that from Fashion Police the next day), but I'm not even tempted this year.
pound sign I am old

Ant comes in whistling Beethoven Symphony 5 (was on a podcast he was listening to on the way home) and B says, "This is where the wolf is coming out of the woods in Little Einsteins!"

When Gap.com leaves the security tag on a shirt, forcing me to go to the store anyway, it defeats the purpose of ordering online...
Jackson is a 5yo little boy who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. His mom is a friend here, and that means he's OURS to take care of ;)
You can read more about him-- and how amazingly well he is doing!-- at Action 4 Jackson.
I asked if it would be ok to send him some Get Well Soon cards, and I'm ASKING FOR YOUR HELP. If your kids (or you) could take a moment to write a letter or draw a picture, I'm sure if would brighten his day! (He likes Ironman and Batman, and most superheroes, and loves cats too!)
Please send me a msg to get the address, or scan your drawings to me and I'll take care of mailing them. Feel free to share!
FOUR books going out to winners today!!
I have a favor to ask you later-- nothing difficult ;)
With a love of children and a passion for reading and writing, Kelly decided to share her experiences with others through the pages of the Crib Notes book and site.
