My wish for 2016 is that we're done with the pointy Demi Lovato, Kylie Jenner, Lady Gaga, Adele nails.
It was such a good break. Fun and active yet relaxing, no 'I'm soooo boooored" or ungratefulness, friends and family time, so good. I could use another week for some housekeeping and home projects...3 days? 1 day? Dentist appointment at 9am Monday instead? booooo
My 2016 Resolution is to be more like Joanna Gaines. hahah but really...
I want to live at Magnolia House.
You know something is wrong when my (almost) 7yo and I both fall asleep mid-day Doing nothing is much less fun when you don't feel good.
We made it till the last 2 days of 2014 wo any sicknesses at all...I guess we can still call that a good year.
One kid down, the other is determined to make it to midnight... I'm gonna try to make it 29 more minutes.
So-- Happy New Year, y'all!
(I think I'm going to start saying "y'all" in 2015. Can a suburban Philly girl pull that off?)
Every year on NYE, Little Guy says he wants to go to Times Square. Maybe some day, buddy, but not this year <3
I don't really set resolutions. There are things that I have in mind, but I'd call them goals to work toward more than things that I resolve to do (word nerd, I know...).
One of those things is better tracking all billable hours. I love the people I work with and (usually) love what I do, but man, working from home gives away so many minutes (which add up to hours which add up to dollars!).
I woke up on Jan 1 from a dream about reorganizing my house. Is this some sort of foreshadowing for 2014? (And really?! My dreams are about organizing now?)
Happy New Year! All 4 of us made it to midnight...and now we're going to bed.
