I don't mind doing laundry- as long as it's start to finish. I can't stand when it's half done. My friend calls this "cold laundry"- that dryer or basket full of unfolded, cold laundry, just getting wrinklier by the minute. I can't say I'm on top of it every minute, so when that happens, I just pop it back in the dryer for a few de-wrinkling minutes. Perhaps it's not the greenest way to operate, but let's face it- the time lapse likely has much less to do with bon bons and soaps and much more to do with childcare and job retention.
Another friend hates vacuuming. Yet another gets pure bliss from scrubbing the floors (not just satisfaction from a clean floor, but actually enjoys doing it- weird, right?!). Maybe it's a leftover from college, but I can't stand dirty dishes in the sink. Especially if, with the same amount of time and effort, they could have been put directly in the dishwasher. Gotta run, cleaning to do!
What's your cleaning pet peeve? What don't you mind doing?
