I need to share my cousin's post from earlier this morning because I could not say it better myself:
"April 2nd...It's National Autism Awareness Day. I vow to my beautiful son to never stop trying to educate the world about Autism and enlighten the ignorant. I vow to teach him to love his differences and the special things that make him who he is. I vow to remind him...God does not make mistakes...This is exactly how he wanted you to be... And for that I'm grateful :-)
For other parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders... Enjoy this day in which society attempts to raise awareness and help celebrate your child's special qualities.
