In the early 80s (and before), you could pay for a full year of tuition at a major university by working about 30 hours a week at minimum wage, for about 12 weeks a summer. 35 years later, the same student would have to work 37 hours a week YEAR 'ROUND to afford the same.
The cost of a college education has nearly overgrown the value of a college education.
