Earlier this week, I posted a link to this Yoplait commercial. I thought it was great. I actually like the reasoning in the beginning!
Since then, the ad has been pulled.
While I may have some food issues (really, who doesn't), I do not have an eating disorder. And this commercial certainly will not give me one. In fact, I can think of many many other commercials that make me feel way worse about myself!
I am ALL for representing real women, and making healthful food choices, and preventing another generation of increased eating disorders. But, a funny, relatable internal dialogue seems to be the least of my worries. In fact, the only thing I find offensive about this commercial is that they think I'm dumb enough to believe that their yogurt tastes like cheesecake...
