The Klampie Mystery, by Luis Rodriguez, tells the tale of Samantha and her koala, Klampie. Klampie is a stuffed koala whose arms 'clamp' onto anything, like a real koala.
Samantha and her parents (along with Klampie, of course) go on an adventure 'down under' to visit family in Australia.
The trip amazes Samantha-- from the plane ride to the amazing country. They have a wonderful time exploring, and learning about the differences between Australia and Samantha's own home in the USA.
On the plane ride home, something even more amazing and surprising happen-- Klampie starts to move on his own...
